Some of the state’s best young footballers will travel to Football Queensland (FQ) headquarters at Meakin Park to compete in this weekend’s Under 12 SAP Boys State Carnival on Saturday, 5 September and Sunday, 6 September.

The two-day event will welcome teams from North Queensland, Central Queensland, Wide Bay, South West and South East Queensland, with two sessions to be held on each day to limit the number of players and spectators on-site at one time as part of a number of COVID Safe measures implemented by FQ.

The carnival will act as a talent identification opportunity for players across the 30 teams, with Brisbane Roar Academy coaches to be in attendance across the two days.

“Our Academy coaches are very excited to attend this weekend’s carnival with the opportunity to identify future Brisbane Roar Hyundai A-League stars,” Brisbane Roar Head Coach Warren Moon said.
